Coach\'s quotes from last night

From AP:
Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen said his staff made several adjustments in the blocking scheme at halftime, and Downs did the rest.

When have you heard CG or his boys make an adjustment at halftime?

From AJC:
"The third quarter was obviously our undoing," Gailey said. "I really don't know what happened. I think we had guys in the right spots but we just weren't tackling."

CG admits he doesn't know what's going on. Anything else need to be said.

That is scary. I like CBee and hope he is successfully here for decades, but want bo'b, rec coach, o line coach to produce NOW. Make clough aware we will not go thru this again.

"I really don't know what happend." This is what i've been saying!!! I do. We got whipped. Bad. It's just like when Dan Reeves forgot about his #1 draft pick in the second half after he had over 6/carry in the first. I know they're from the same town, but they've been reading the same script. That is the last thing you need to say after you got your butt stomped into the ground. Make something up. Blame it on injuries. But don't say you don't know! My gosh. I was physically ill all Thursday night. The quote made sense, though. It was pretty obvious he had no idea what was going on out there.
You score 3 points in a half, then come out in the second half doing the exact same thing, hoping it'll work now? High school coaches make half time adjustments, pound ball coaches make adjustments. Why can't a guy who's been in the NFL make freakin' adjustments?!
Chan looked good on paper, NFL pedigree (to attract recruits), head coaching experience, southern boy, but just like the Tech team as a whole, everythings a whole lot better on paper so far. Just don't look at the final score, and you'd think we were doing pretty well. I think that's what Chan is doing. QUIT MAKING EXCUSES AND GET THE JOB DONE! I don't care about injuries (everybody's a freshman anyway), I don't care about the new system, I don't care about anything like that. I just want production. Not even wins, necessarily. Just evidence we're moving in the right direction, instead of this downhill avalanche we're caught up in.

MatatoGT, I agree with you wanting to see improvement. Right now I am more concerned about the integrity and future of the program than I am about wins. It is time for Dave NoBraine to realize his mistake and correct it.
