COFH Game Date

Hearing from contacts via SEC office there is talks of moving COFH to Black Friday this year. Apparently the game is CBS and they have full rights and privileges to move the game if desired. They have been showing Arkansas/Missou in recent years and tired of bad ratings. Other option is LSU vs Texas AM.

For the record, hoping this does not happen! Do not want to change our mojo at the Cesspool.
 
They'll be coming off a game against UMass while we're coming off of a conference foe (UVA). I honestly don't know if one more day of rest (playing Saturday vs. Friday) makes any kind of difference there, but figured I'd point it out regardless.
 
I can't imagine what Black Friday shopping would be like without the Dwag fans fighting it out at the Walmart.

Can't hurt. I like it.

Think about it this way. If I die on Sunday, I got a full 48 hours of enjoying yet another win over the dwags versus 24 if we play on Saturday. That's a 100% increase in savoring victory and mutthurt. Now if I live longer than that Sunday then the percentage kind of drops but it will always be higher than if we played on Saturday. That's 24 extra hours of bliss. Sign me up.

How seriously do you take your contacts? Think it's legit?
 
Disapprove. Keep it Saturday. Kick off at 9am if you want to but play it Saturday. That Saturday is a glorious day of college rivals football and moving us from it is dumb. I don't care about the ratings. At some point, tradition should trump trying to boost a few ratings points.
