this afternoon on his radio show was ranting big time about how stupid college teams are to all try and run the "west coast" offense, pointing out that they are trying to beat the best teams by running the same offense with lesser talent which is DUMB.

Went on a rant about how Nebraska needs to go back and run the the TO like it did during its hey day. I don't always care for his drivel but this was music to our ears in regards to our concerns about PJ having a "gimic" offense.

Anyone else hear that about lunch time?

I didn't hear it, but I fully agree and always have. Paul Johnson even said the same thing in one of his quotes right around his hiring.

I think too many times coaches go the traditional route to attract recruits who want to prepare for the NFL. However, if you still aren't getting the recruits the other schools are, why not go with a system that better neutralizes the talent gap and therefore improves your odds at winning? Seems like common sense to me.

Was anyone else as scared as I was thinking Nebraska was gonna go after PJ?

Music to my ears when they hired Bo Pellini.

It really makes sense, too. I mean when was the last time we put a QB in the NFL? Or a stud LT? We've had some success with RBs lately, but still not as much as other schools.

Oh, waiter! I'll have another glass of rationality please.

Ahhhhhh. Refreshing.
