Turbo Grafx 16—–>Washington/Georgia Tech

The TG16 was hailed as the “next big game system,” and nobody bought it, because they lacked household name qualities. Washington and Georgia Tech split a National title in 1990 (GT) and 1991 (UW), and nobody bought it, because they lacked household name qualities. See where I’m going here? (For the record, those two teams were exceptional, and it’s a shame they don’t get more credit)

I love this comment by "bugkiller"

Also, and it pains me to say this, but you should have the 2008 Bulldogs as the Sega Dreamcast, because they were both pretty much DOA even though they held so much promise.
With my Dawgs, losing 3 starters off the offensive line, their best defensive tackle, and having the handicap of Willie Martines, the worst and least imaginative DC in the SEC, doomed them by the second game of the season.
With the Dreamcast, it didn’t have the software support of third party developers (comparable to injuries… they didn’t have the games (players) to make it) to suceed, and while the PS3 also lacks quality third party development (or first party), most people have bought it as a future-proof blu-ray player (unlike those idiots stuck with the early profile 1.0 players with no firmware updates).:laugher:

I agree with the first half of that article, until he got to the super nintendo. I also applaud his choices of video game favorites up until that point. Tecmo Superbowl was the best game.

The N64 was a badass system. It deserves better than Michigan.
