The logic being?
Why select games to cancel according to age of participants? Makes no sense to me.
I say play 'em all.
BTW, somebody posted on a MD board that UM is paying $32K to the DC transit system to extend subway hours from midnight to 3AM for the game.

Well, I suppose it would be impossible for this killer to hit someone in a big college stadium from a van. Some high school games can probably be viewed from streets. But I really don't think they should cancel anything personally.
Before people are in a big stadium, they have to park and walk into it, and vice versa, at which time they could be sniped.
I suspect Ahso has hit upon the reason - the parents don't value high school games enough to risk it (football not being a religion in that area as it is in the deep South).
Another reason might be that refunding prepaid tickets for games is a big hazzle (as the BCA game attested).
This guy (or these guys) are going to be tough to catch. He/they are scripting their own movie as they go.

High school games free? As my students often say to me, Goldtimer, "How old ARE you?"
Well, they're not selling season tickets and individual tickets by seat number in advance that have to be refunded if the game is cancelled, are they? If HS sports have become this commercialized, I don't want to know about it.
If they are just charging at the gate, that's not a problem if the game is cancelled (other than the fact they lost the income).
And to answer your question, I am VERY OLD! Old enough to not have paid when I was in HS. Just walked in and sat down.
