Commit number 6

Thanks for the "heads up".

My favorite quote:

"What would Joe like to say to Tech fans who are looking forward to him becoming a Yellow Jacket? “I’d tell them that I can’t wait to see them on the field when we win the National Championship and I’d also tell them ‘heck with Georgia’ cause I don’t cuss,” said Kerr. “And for other teams in the ACC, I’d say ‘wait'll they get a load of me!"

:laugher:

According to the Scout article, our first five commits were Defensive. Did we recruit Lanier as an OG or DE/DT?

Also, anybody know anything about Kerr? There is NO news about him on Scout - other than his position and him signing wigth Tech. He is 6-1.5, 210.

:wow:

If you read past the "some people call me Maurice" part and didn't realize it was an april fools joke you should be ashamed.

Of course, in true hive fashion this isn't really funny at all...

I'll admit I didn't read the article at all. I also didn't suspect Scout to have a sense of humor (though you have to have one to charge what they do for free information). I guess I was one of the many fooled.

Wow, all I gotta say is wow. :laugher:

You got made fun of a LOT when you were young didn't you?

Is anyone here old enough to remember the George Plimpton stush for SI years back about the pitching pheenom Sid Finch? Much better than Joe Kerr, which sounds like a line out of an old Batman comic.
