Uhhh...the 2 calls vs. VT were the right calls - the HtH call was probably right, just a bad rule and the facemask by MJ was absolutely the right call (under any interpretation of the new rule or the old rule).

With the ACC being the way it is this year, looking at stats is about as good as reading tea leaves.

It does instill a bit of confidence, but not much. Ever since our UVA loss (a game where we were statistically dominant going into the game), I have a tough time putting faith in stats.

Thanks for the stats - should be a competitive game and we've played pretty well at home except for a team that posed matchup problems for us, UVA. Hopefully, we can be pretty healthy when the "U" and their Vanilla Ice wannabe fans roll in next Thursday.

Ha ha. The crying worked! Sympathy at last! No wonder kids do this all the time; it's effective. Kids and Mark Richt. Anyway, I hope it goes without saying that my crybaby icon was just a stupid joke, and maybe poking fun at folks who get upset about off-topic posts. The truth is that I also can't look at our past scores without thinking to myself: Damn, we should have won that one. Oh well. There are definitely a few wins that coulda been losses too, including the dreaded G-W game. Also, of course I agree that stats like that are mostly pointless, but then so is goofing off at work on a Friday unless I have something constructive to goof off with, such as calculating scores and posting on ST...
