This was the preseason #1 team *cough* what bull$#!+ *cough*, but I feel that we can legitimately go into the cesspool and shred them apart.

When was the last time you felt this confident going into the ass-sniffer game?

The only time since 2000 that I've actually felt confident was '06 in Athens. We were 9-2 and ranked 15th(?). They were 7-4. We had Calvin and a high-flying defense coming off a shutout of UNC the week before. I thought we could whip them if we came in prepared (which we never really have since '01). The defense allowed one scoring drive all day...the only problem was it was the last drive to give them the 15-12 win.

Can you imagine the fallout around the state if we do this? They were #1. We were "supposed" to win 3-4 games. This could be EPIC!
 
As much as I would like to, I dont at all think we will shred them apart. Do I think we will win, i'm not sure. Do i know we can win, no doubt!

I think this will be close. As usual, it will be based on our QB's play and lack of turnovers. Expect NOBODY to get pulled from the game if we start to pull ahead. If PJ gets the chance to pull away from UGA he will "go for the jugular". He has played UGA before in the pouring rain and I know he has not forgotten that game.
 
I am confident, but we will have to score 30 to win I think.
 
Exactly. No turnovers = win. Many turnovers = loss. It's been that way all season.
 
I felt confident that we'd win out after the Miss St game too. Then we almost got upset by GW, played like crap at Clemson, got beat by UVA and UNC.

This team needs to execute flawlessly to beat UGA. This will be our toughest opponent of the entire year. Our defense will be tested.
 
First knowing a little about UGA's team this year I will never know why they were a preseason 1. They are about where I thought they would be with a very down SEC this year. Good not great.

The Jackets have continued to get better as the season moves along. We will get some people back for the game that are big contributors. Our guys are well coached and we have a coaching staff that understands the importance of this game. I am quietly confident about this one for the first time in 6 years.

We will run for over 300 yards probably over 400. No turnovers and convert in the redzone this is our game.
 
We play like this and we'll win by 3 TDs. Johnson won't call the dogs off the dawgs.
 
To win this game GT must not turn the ball over, must tackle well (sounds stupid, but the D needs hit Moreno hard and often in this game), pressure Swofford, the offense must be productive on first down to avoid 2nd & long and 3rd & long situations, make the most of their trips in the red zone (TD's) --and probably as important as anything, come out with the focus, determination and intensity that they came out on the field with last night.

I have been confident going into every game this season. We should have confidence in this team --if not for turning the ball over against VT and UNC, and not for defensive lapses against UVA, this could be one incredible season right now. I'll take the 8-3 at this point and I'm confident of going into Athens and coming away with a W --shades of '84, '98 and what should have been in '06. I am confident.
 
It feels like '06 but with the running/passing situation reversed, and the lack of a moron quaterback, and the lack of a moron coach. That sounds pretty good to me, but I'm still trying to recover from that garbage in Athens 2 years ago...

On the money.

People fail to realize that we have not come close to playing an offense this good.

This team has been trading good game/bad game since the start of October.

I'm just pleased we have a shot going in. Preseason I thought it would be a sure beat down.
