And they can't cut a single dollar from the federal budget. Disgusting.

And why isn't Grant Field on the list?

Besides the fact that Angel Cabrera is as ööööty at lobbying the federal government as he is at lobbying the University of Georgia State Legislature and the POS Bulldwag Governor, maybe it's because there is no Grant Field any more. Hyundai Field hasn't even been around for one year. That isn't "historic."
 
This is disgusting. As someone said earlier, pols from both parties just can't keep from spending OUR money on stupid öööö while the rest of the Country burns to the ground. Furthemore, isn't Bobby Dodd the oldest college stadium in terms of continuous use?

BDS not being on the list pretty much just shows it’s a poor excuse for a cash grab.

If politicians are going to play games and make up BS for money, they might as well just put on unitards and have them compete in events like American Gladiators to determine what states take home money. Politicians get a 10% cut of whatever they win. I’d tune in to that, assuming football wasn’t on.
 
only excuse for BDS not being on list is if there is a playoff game in atlanta, it will be at benz. but what is the goal? preserving historic venues, or upgrading potential playoff stadiums, because half of those on the current list should not be considered playoff venues.

That’s all this is. Pork all the projects. Only difference is there’s no GA senator or house rep who cares enough about BDS to add to the list
