The way I see it, Braine knew the probation was coming and, knowing he was at risk of losing his job, set his buddy Chan up with an extension. Now he can laugh at us for 5 years with his parting gift...

What I can't believe is that Clough was gullible enough to buy in to the extension.
 
I don't normally call a post stoopid, but this one is.
You obviously don't have any idea of the relations between the coach and Braine over the last few years, and if you think this is the time to be on the market for a new coach, you are just wrong.
Plus, you have no idea the language of the contract extension.
 
Actually, if Braine knew what was coming down then it was a pretty smart move after all. We will need stability thru probation. If only he had kept his damn mouth shut.

PS: He still needs to go and become a full time fly fisherman.
