Cool article on one of our recruits.

Instead, he looked at those spread and pro-style schools, not even knowing that when Georgia Tech contacted him during his junior year, Johnson had left Navy to take over the Yellow Jackets, aiming to bring his unique offense back to the BCS level.

"I thought [former] coach [Chan] Gailey was still there, actually," Luallen said. "Then I did a little research on it and found out, and then I really fell in love with it."

He fell in love with more than the system, though, pointing to Georgia Tech's reputable academics and the school's Atlanta location as factors.

Yet another props to Tech's well-rounded atmosphere.

His mom and her family are big dawg fans.

I believe that he was very interested in ugaville but don't know how much interest was returned. Once richt signed that Aaron-something kid JL turned his attention to us.

I think the business for whom JL's dad works has opened an office in ATL and the dad now has residence in ATL. My sister and her family have lived in JL's neighborhood for years and are good family friends. My BIL helped coach a peewee FB team of Jordan's. My sister taught at Center Grove HS until three years ago.
