Tariq is highly underrated.

does anyone else recall the first tackle of the season in 2018 against USF on the kickoff? Tariq friggin DESTROYED the return man.

He was awesome that game and that season. I think last year he was also solid, but I think he can take a big step forward this year.

I think that stat is even more impressive given overall team performance last year. He certainly wasn’t getting much help from the D-Line applying pressure. Oregon was 12-2 and Ok St and KY were both 8-5.

Stats can be misleadng- not to take a lot away but Juan. Thomas also has very high def safety stat rating -but our def generally was weak as teams didn't to need to throw much on us some limited passing stats vs us.
Hope these results hold up this yr.
