Corso

Totally agree. Should have hung it up after it started becoming REALLY obvious last year.

Nah, keep him around! Herbstreit can pop him upside the head every now and then and a fun moment will fall out. You really take Gameday that seriously? Who you going to replace him with? It's fun, man! Let Lou be Lou as long as he wants to be there.

Well, this was about 15 years ago, but I met Corso at an Atlanta Sports Council thing. Helluva nice guy.
But, not so fast ... yeah, he kinda needs to ride off into the sunset. Dear Lord, though, don't give a bigger role to Pollack or Des Howard. We need more Molly McGrath.

It's important for diversity to employ mentally disabled people. ESPN needs more diversity, not less. Especially in light of the recent layoffs. It's about time we saw a woman host at the Gameday desk.

It's very sad. I don't really mind having him on there, he's not Lou Holtz or anything. But I definitely notice how Kirk helps him along throughout the show (which is super classy of him) and it's sad, because I personally love Corso.

Corso has done a lot for that network. Let him decide when to leave.

Besides, the way that network is going, they would probably replace him with Castro's carcass or someone from north korea.

You're prolly trollin'; but I'll bite. The cast and crew of Game Day probably prefer propping him up to the potential replacement ESPN might go after in the name of diversity. Game Day is one of the few shows on ESPN that doesn't completely suck, it needs some ESPN managed diversity so it will be unwatchable like the others.

They leading candidate for his replacement is reportedly this guy:
