as early as Sunday or more likely early next week? Dems, could you comment?

Meeeshagan, will talk to Les Miles after sat. night and that has been confirmed. Is it in Drad's plan, not to make the final decision till either Sunday or shortly thereafter, once the Michigan and Lsu jobs are a lot clearer, come Sunday or Monday..I'm just thinking that Miles will take that job immediatley IF, Lsu did (Very slim chance) not make it to the MNC game, but he does not want to ruin Lsu's chances in the sec title game by any decision before that game.

Dems, could it be, that Drad just might want to wait a couple of extra days, to see what transpires, thinking in the back of his mind a coach or two we and he might just want will be affected by this scenario ? I don't know, but just speculating, would be interesting to see if you can say yes or no and no waffling? :laugher:

I don't how good Dem's info is. I would be willing to bet money that we don't hire RN. That would be a career suicide move by Radakovich. Why even take the inherent risks which include:
Rn is not that great a coach
Majority of the fan base would be against the hire
He is a West Coast guy at heart
Scandals and sanctions surrouded both his programs
He is the OC for one of the worst NFL offenses ever
He never sticks around in any one place for too long

Why do this when you can go after Tenuta, Hatcher, Edsall, Muschamp,or PJ (who I believe we will contact after the Army/Navy game) and have the support of the fan base immediately?

The whole doesn't add up to me or make any sense. I think Neuheisel inquired about the job but I don't think we are very serious about considering him.

When did he say we were GOING to hire RN? Jeez, the guy has done more than enough to fill us in on most of the candidates. I notice this is your first post. So, just look back over his library of work and you'll recognize it for its quality.

You can think what you want, I don't care. Dont misquote me though, I didn't say RN would get the job. True he inquired, he wasn't on the radar but was impressive so far.

I don't care, but if Dems says he is clean and Drad wants to hire him, I would be ecstatic, and would think that GT would be on the track to becoming a major football power both in this state and nationwide. RN would give us that name coach that people nationwide would recognize and it would help our recruiting and more fans that would follow us. I think there are a lot of fans that would feel the same way.

RN would put more fans in the stands that is one thing for sure. He would generate a great deal of excitement and interest in our football program. imho.

Next thing we know, Jimmy Buffet will be singing the ramblin wreck from Georgia Tech.

Actually, I'm pretty sure I saw an official press release that he was formally interviewing today.
