"Tuesday, five days before the anniversary of his hiring, Johnson was named the ACC coach of the year by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association. Johnson was a runaway winner, earning 46 of a possible 67 votes. Boston College’s Jeff Jagodzinski was second with 12 votes."

It wasn't even close!

Greetings. I've been a lurker for almost a year (since GT hired Paul Johnson). This is my first post. Let me be the first to say hello to everyone, and congratulations to one my favorite college coach, Paul Johnson.
 
Awesome!! ... now I am waiting for national COY honors. He deserves that as well.

First of all, welcome to the board, your timing is certainly spot on.

Secondly, the input of cajunjacket is just flat out inarguably valid....CPJ should be COY.....:bowdown:
 
acc COY is great, but hopefully not national.

We need him to have a little lower profile and discourage any others from thinking about him.:fingersx:

They can try, but we won't let them if I have anything to say. CPJ for COY and GT for ACC Champs next year! Then we can talk about GT for NC in 2011!
