8 seasons and we're 7-2 against ranked teams at home. 2-0 against Top 5 teams. Don't have the spreads, but I guarantee we were underdogs in every game except maybe '14 Clemson, but probably that one too. Something about playing big games under the lights in BDS...

This is a pleasant surprise. Gives me a little more hope for Thursday night.

FWIW, the 2011 Clemson game was 31-17 (but should have been 38-10 were it not for some serious #ACCrefs shenanigans on a non-offsides call that resulted in a Tevin fumble).

also wasn't the VT '11 loss when Attaochu punched VT's qb on a 3rd and forever and probably cost us the game?

You can't blame that loss on coaching

here is the vid if you can stomach it....one of the biggest WTF ever

I remember CPJ saying that when he asked TW what happened, he said the D lineman came through and took the snap from center. CPJ said that's really fast. Everybody in the stadium saw it and the ACC later ruled that it was a missed call.

The ACC officials seem to miss more calls than a drunk 911 operator.

We were favored in both those 2008 games, by 2.5 and 3.0 points, respectively (they were both in November). Also favored by 3.0 points in the 2009 UNC game.

I'm confused by OP's list. There should definitely be more UGA losses on it...right?!?! We haven't beaten them at home in 15 years...and the rankers love @SEC.

2011 is the only time under CPJ in which they've been ranked when they played in Atlanta.

More importantly: CPJ's record against Clemson at BDS: 3-0:

*öööö you, NCAA.

The OP didnt say we were the underdog, he merely said "against ranked" opposition

Clemson has not won in BDS since 2003. It still amazes me when some Clemson fans chalk that game up as a win.
