"I had guys yelling at me before the (uga) game, 'This is not Army, this is not Southern'. I couldn't find those guys after the game"

effing hilarious. Love this guy.

Expectations: They need to be kept reasonable, you can't be getting ahead of yourself. I think that was one of the problems Richt had, expectations were so high.

For goals next year: I let the team set their goals, I try and give them some guidance. It should be interesting.

The system: We had doubters, we had people saying it wouldn't work. At GSU it worked pretty well the 5th year just as much as it did the 1st year.

Georgia game: At the game on Sautrday I had guys yelling at me "this is not Army and this it not Georgia Southern" - I couldn't find those guys after the game. :laugher:

Execution: UNC lined up the same way that Miami lined up. It's all about execution.

Bowl game: No for-sure information, we're excited to go and to keep that streak alive. Hopefully we'll get a big crowd.

"Oh come on coach you know you want to stick it to another SEC team" - <laughs> I think it'd be great to play in Atlanta, Florida would be great.

LMAO. Just said Florida would be great to play in a bowl game.

Damn.

I'm not listening, but based on Rodzilla's commentary, didn't he mean it would be great to play a bowl game in Atlanta or (in the state of) Florida?

Yea, he was saying it would be great to play in Atlanta but that Florida would be great too.

How much would it save the AA to play in the CFA bowl? I'm sure that would go a long way to paying down some debt.

To take this a little further....I saw at the end of the game on CBS' broadcast around the 0:01 mark when they called a delay of game and then Nesbitt took a knee to end the game, PJ turned around towards the stands and was yelling something. Now CBS' take was he was celebrating with his players and congratulating them, but last night on the Comcast CSS version, there was a comment to the effect that he was "giving it back" to some of the hecklers in the stands and if you look at their footage, damn if it doesn't look like he was....I don't know what he was yelling and pointing at, but after what he said during the show this AM, I really think he was giving those assholes crap back! At least that's what I'm gonna think until someone says otherwise!

Not that I needed anymore justification to like Johnson, but that's awesome!

I believe you are correct on this one.
