A year ago tomorrow he accpeted the job as HC at GT! He's done a heck of a job getting things in place in a short time...Many perhaps dreamed of making such a splash but CPJ knew with his offensive scheme that it could/would be successful! Here's to YOU CPJ! Congrats to Coach Johnson and all that the team has accomplished this year. I am looking for an impressive showing at the Chic Fil A Bowl and a strong finish in our recruiting efforts. I have been impressed all year with his offensive schemes. I must say that we are so fortunate to have him as our head coach. I hope that they are able to come to terms on the $ amount that will keep CPJ and his staff in tact and on the FLATS for years to come!

Oh what a difference a year makes...he's ONE hot commodity..... I would also like to offer a congrats to all the hard work and effort to those who worked in the AD department to make it all possible....now lets just do what we've got to do to keep him here!

Let's finish up 2008 with a BIG W over LSU and make the nation take notice that GT Football is knocking on the door of a National Championship(s)!

He was hired the day I took my current girlfriend out on her first date. Excellent things come in pairs! :)
Well that could apply to both the hire and the date or just the date.

Either way, looks like you got lucky. ;)

Back a little over a year ago the board swelled with 568 users on line, as everyone was speculating on who the new head coach of Georgia Tech would be. I was attending a conference in Savannah and kept myself tucked away and logged onto ST as much as possible.

Well, GT didn't hire Rick Neuheisel, didn't hire Randy Edsall, Skip Holtz, the "Boom M-F'er" guy, George O'Leary, or any of the other names that popped up after the GT head coaching position became vacant.

Georgia Tech hired Paul Johnson --he of a nine-win season, a win over Florida State, a win over Georgia which included rolling up 409 rushing yards, an invite the the CFA Bowl as the ACC #2 selected team, Jonathan Dwyer becomes ACC player of the year and Paul Johnson wins ACC coach of the year honors, and the chance to have the programs third ten-win season since 1956 ('90 & '98).

It has been a great twelve months --and the next twelve (and beyond) will get even better.

I was still working on the beer truck when I heard it and I wasn't worth much for the rest of the day because I was so distracted thinking about the hire. I liked it a lot once I sat down and read about him and watched some videos of his offense.

Looking forward to another great 12 months.

Today, one year ago, I was already drinking the koolaid. Some of you guys still wanted Chris Hatcher from GSU. Wanna trade now?
