AP played for CPJ at GSU

If I may copy / paste from his college career...

COLLEGE: Four-time consensus All-America and All-Southern Conference pick at Georgia Southern (1998-2001), setting multiple school, conference, and NCAA Division I-AA marks… Rushed for collegiate record 100 yards in 36 straight games, 54 overall, and set NCAA scoring record with 524 career points… His 40 career 100-yard regular season outputs set an NCAA all-division record… College football's all-time leading rusher with 6,543 yards on 996 career attempts… First player in conference history to rush for over 1,000 yards in 4 seasons… In 42 regular season games, rushed for 85 TDs and 155.8 yards per game… In 57 overall career contests, carried 1,378 times for 9,145 yards, 111 TDs and 160.4 yards per game…

What was his size and speed as a sophomore compared to Dwyer?

A.P.: 5'10", 210 lbs
J.D.: 6'0", 197 lbs

AP was 200-205 lbs while at GSU...i know that for a fact...

He was able to play that spot consistently (bback) b/c they aren't as big or strong in 1AA on D and he wouldn't get pounded like 1A despite his smallish size.

If you notice at Navy, all the bbacks PJ used were 220 and above....I expect the same at tech. Our bbacks will all be larger, putting Dwyer right on the edge.

From what I understand the staff wants him to lose 10lbs. I expect to see JD in both back spots...with a playing weight right at 220 maybe even 215

I think the main difference is speed. How quik will Dwyer get past the block and the linebackers. The stats don't really apply until we start running it. (sorry, stuff in the oven.. gotta go) .
