Cremins for AD?

Mike Lough reporting in the Macon Telegraph that Bobby Cremins has shown interest in the AD job.

While I love Bobby Cremins, I am not quite sure how I would feel about him as AD. I think that he genuinely loves Georgia Tech and would be an excellent fundraiser. However, Coach Hewitt, I think would feel threatened by having his predecessor as his boss, and having him looking over his shoulder. And I'm sure that there are several people on this board that want a football 1st kind of guy (or gal). But I'm sure that Coach C knows the importance of having a successful football program and it's impact on all sports at Tech. What are your thoughts guys?

I don't think so, no one at Tech has done more than Coach Hewitt to recognize and respect what Bobby Cremins did for GT Basketball. Coach Hewitt is a true professional and a class act.

I agree with you here on Cremins. He deserves honorable mention here, but I don't think he is the right person at this time. I personally don't think it would matter to Coach Hewitt. I can't imagine anyone upsetting Coach Hewitt with what he has done and what he has put together for Tech's future.
