Why would they come out now and say "Oh BTW, one of our quarterbacks has had a fractured shoulder and needs surgery...but he's still ok to play. kthxbai" 2 days before he plays against our DL?
 
If I saw the season tanking the way it will be for Clemson, I'd need surgery all of a sudden too.
 
according to a Clemson buddy of mine that has some connections, Harper has had shoulder problems virtually his entire time at Clemson, that they have rarely discussed with anyone.

Apparently now that he is questionable and his performance is suffering, it is open news...

He looks good wearing a no contact jersey maybe.

I certainly wouldn't want him to get hurt worse, but I'll be annoyed if the officials have a quick whistle when he's in the game.
 
I thought getting your head removed from your ass was an out patient procedure.
