Recruiting Test:

Question may be better suited for coaches than fans but I've noticed over the years that some of you posters here at Stingtalk do know a LOT about football recruiting, so here goes.

1) What high school in the U.S. is responsible for placing the most players on scholarship in D-1 schools?

2) What HS football head coach can claim getting the most players on scholarship to D-1 schools?

3) Who is the winningest HS football HC today?

4) What college football HC can claim seeing the most of his players go into the NFL?

1. tallahassee lincoln high, FL & dallas skyline high, TX?
2.?
3?
4. Bobby Bowden

Those private prep schools are fball factories-like Hargrave in Va.

Tebow's high school (Neese High School by Jacksonville) had a lot of D-1 players. Two other high schools in Florida known for Football are Lakeland and St. Thomas Aquinas.

I would guess a Texas high school, particularly in the Dallas area, leads the nation. The state of Texas has, by far, the most lenient rules for high school football in the nations. Coaches get big salaries and their one "class" is usually a daily football meeting. Training is year-round in Texas and the competition is the best in the nation.

Couple Possibles

I don't know, and I'm not going to ask google, but John Curtis in LA and Belle Glade in FL can produce the talent.

I know the winningest high school football coach is Bob Ladouceur of DeLaSalle High in Concord, CA....plus he is the current coach there. He started in 1979.

He has a .939 winning percentage and at one point won 151 consecutive games. Lifetime is 309-16-3.

If you are going by highest winning per centage, you may be right. Most cumulative wins however, I think belongs to J McKissick at Summerville High outside of Charleston, SC. I think this is where AJ Green is this year.
