I think that if we went around the nation comparing coach's bios versus the truth, we'd be shocked at how many of them have incorrect info. The difference between Tech and other schools is that our coaches were caught...and we have a local beatwriter that decided to hurt us during recruiting. Unbelievable.

I dont know how big a deal this is, but I am VERY glad that this is not one of our coaches with our local media.

IMHO, that isn't much different than what happened with Smith. It looks clear that at some point somebody decided it would look better for Cutcliffe if it appeared that he came to Alabama with a football scholarship. Once again, it was simply a case of "tweaking".

I don't believe any of these coaches should have been fired, but I do believe that Cutcliffe's case is really no different than ours. It's pretty obvious that the incorrect information was there to make his bio sound more impressive. That's the bottom line.
