its a shame CJ and Thomas wont have more years together - would be quit a duo!!! that is assuming CJ leaves after next year.
 
I say that size wise for the pair...hope Thomas develops into a CJ...and quickly
 
I just watched his videos on Scout. He's got great hands and catches the ball out in front of him. He can go up and make a play on the ball. He's not nearly as physical as I thought a guy his size would be, but he has some speed and his size is evident.
 
Great pick up for the jackets. It will be hard to top these last3 committs. Good to see us closing the deal on several players this late in the recruiting process.....MERRY CHRISTMAS.....Can't wait to see how it all winds up.
 
we may finally get a TE as a rec threat.Based on stats he probably is not a deep threat WR type..
 
Do you think all these WR's know something I don't know? Like, maybe we've recruited a hotshot dropback passer who can fling it accurately all over the field?
 
Garner... he's the QB of the future, though maybe the new kid Ingram will push him.
 
I don't know about a specific QB, but the fact that CJ is first team all-acc and second team all-american says that a wide receiver at Tech can be recognized nationally even when passing yards per game is less than 200, and completion percentage less than 50 (47%).

I too would think that things can only look up.

I know he's just a walk on - and I am from Bartow County - but I wouldn't count Donaldson out of the QB derby. Big strong kid with a strong arm and HS stats almost identical to Garner. PJ managed to climb the depth charts. It could happen.
 
JJ, I never did get to see the Donaldson kid play any in HS. I'm sure you have seen him so I'm wondering how the kid looked on the field. Was he nervous, composed, in control, what have you noticed about him? For a HS QB, rating from 1-10, 10 being the highest, how would you rate him? Do you think he could put pressure on RB?
