Dabo's opinion on Clemsoning.

He should have taken a higher road and had fun with it...kinda' using his personality. Could have easily flipped the conversation. The media won that one.

he's been very vocal about his opinion on Clemsoning over the years. And he's going out and making it a focal point of his teams to show up in these big games and they've responded. He's really doing good things with that program, being little more than the Wizard of Oz with excellent relationships and coordinators.

The most important parts of any leadership position are being able to put good people below you and being able to not get in the way of them doing their jobs.

Speaking about sport cliches. ..

Someone needs to ask Al Golden when exactly will the U be back.

He also has never beaten CPJ outside the comfort of his home field. He's just lucky the quirk in the schedule gave him an extra home game rather than the other way around. 5 of the 9 matchups between these coaches have been in Death Valley with only 3 coming in Atlanta (1 in ACCCG). If you flip those to our favor CPJ might be up to 6-3 or 7-2 against Dabo.

Another crazy stat I thought about the other day. Since 2005 Clemson has played 5 games in BDS with a total of 62 points (12.4 ppg). That's pretty insane given the weapons and prolific offenses they've had in recent years. They're probably averaging something like 42 ppg against us in Death Valley over that time. Looking forward to welcoming them back to Atlanta again next season.

FWIW, I agree with Dabo re the "reporters." And say what you want about Dabo, he gets good players and those players, Clemson fans, and DRad seem to like him.

I use to think Dabo was some kind of clown and was like WTF is Clemson doing when he was hired, but he seems to be doing a good job and lands some elite players.
