A coach for Fresno St, talks about his contacts who helped give info on GT. One gave info on Tenuta, fellow coach from UNC. One from NC St, gave info on certain players, said they were better than they looked on film. The one from UGAG could offer nothing as "they crushed GT on both sides"
The Fresno coach says our scheme reminds him most of CSU and our talent of Oregon (both of whom they played) After Oregon gets lit up for 38 by WF, I wonder if he still feels the same.
However, he says we are similar to Fresno in that we love to blitz; the coach and the QB say they will eat the blitz up. Says their own D is the toughest they have played all year. Also says our safties give away the blitz, while theirs don't.
Tomorrow will be verrrry interesting!!!
Sadly, the article also says the GT/Frexno excursion to the Santa Cruz beach was cancelled
due to storm. The teams spent Sunday at the Dave and Busters in Milpitas, eating dinner and playing video games.
Having lived in the SF bay area 10 years, I can tell you "one doesn't want to spend any time in Milpitas"
