They said George Edwards was on campus today, but we are competing w/ Fl and I dont know that we will win that battle.

Through the darkest nights, Dodd's words, "You boys are just a little bit better when you put on that Georgie Tech uniform," have reminded me that the Jackets need not bow to anybody!

Boy, I wish I had a powerful enough graemlin to go with that quote!
 
If Edwards wants to learn as much as he can learn and if he has ambitions of one day being a HC, I think he would rather take the Tech job -- assuming the money is competitive. CG is a more proven coach than Z is and is more respected (IMHO).
 
It looks like archer is the only candidate that is still coaching.


I have to believe that he may be the one. If it was someone else it would seem the hire would have already been made.

We are 16 days away from signing day and still no DC.

I do agree with the others who say that he is probably waiting for this hire, so the DC can have input into the rest of the Def staff.
