Any rumors out there of who will replace Thacker as DC?

IMO, the vague retention of Thacker and the communication of "play calling duties" changing hands seemed to point toward CGC taking over play calling duties, but why not say it if that's the case?

Any shot Manny Diaz takes a decent contract to come here and show what he has again as DC? Or does he take a lower-level HC job? I don't think he's a take for a P5 school coming off this fiasco, right?

Any news on this front would be welcome as I am apparently unsuccessful at taking a break from GT football. Thx

Yeah I think it will be Collins as DC and someone else, either Thack or one of the new secondary coaches as Co-DC. I guess CGC is convinced that the secondary coaching was the issue. Hope he is right.

I think Diaz could probably get a DC job at a bigger program than ours or a HC job at the Group of 5 level right away. Not even sure he would be a philosophical fit.
