Deadspin Says Manti Te'o's Girlfriend Was a Hoax

Cover for a gay lover gone seriously awry, IMO. Sad that they felt this was preferable to just coming out.
 
Fitting. Manti Teo is kind of a hoax in and of himself...
 
he obviously has some BIG TIME mental health issues to fabricate such a story and this will probably cost him some big time $$$'s

Maybe he is hiding something about his personal life that he is NOT comfortable exposing.

I call BULLSHIT!! it's obvious he knew the whole time, and said they met up a bunch!! They are using Dec. 26th to make it look like this has been going on before the story got released, but really they are just trying to cover their asses!

Don't ask me why, but I saw part of that movie Catfish and this is exactly what happened to him. Only it was some middle-aged lady concocting a bunch of "friends" and "relatives" instead of some weird preacher.
