it is a subject that has come up more than once. When it was polled most felt he was a fan.

there really is no good solution. I will point out that we are approaching 500 members yet Beeware is the only one that has been complained about.

Many other posters offer criticisms of the coaching staff, admins, and etc., yet no one asks them to be removed.

I presume it is Beeware's caustic attitude that is the problem.

So beeware understand it is not what you say but HOW YOU SAY IT that is the problem.

There was a poll done a few weeks ago and it showed most feel beeware is a fan and there were a few that stated we need more like him (if you can believe that).

I suppose we will do another poll in a few months, not that it is binding but it is relevant.

I think the anonymous poster/reader of stingtalk is tolerant of beeware or has at least learned how to ignore him.

I am posting this to let the poster/readers of stingtalk know that we, the moderators, are not indifferent to beeware. We just dont have a good solution.

Is it possible that Beeware can go so far as to lose his right to post? ABSOLUTELY

This is an issue that we would want the membership involved in. So next time you see a poll on Beeware cast a vote.

Like I said earlier the last vote was a "keep em."

Hopefully, Beeware will understand that he can go too far and will act accordingly.

The bottom line is voice your concern/and or criticism then MOVE ON. It is the constant RANTING that leads people to want to commit acts of violence.

i apologize for the manner in which i ranted last night about beeware.

i also realize that i am not a heavy poster on this board or on any board for that matter.

however, i love to read the hive and i love to read the posts on this board. usually i don't have much to add .. but listening (in this case reading) is also a form of participation, however passive it may be.

when i'm reading a post, i find it hard .. almost impossible to skip anyone's comments to that thread .. i do not believe that an anonymous reader has learned to be tolerant of beeware or anyone's posts .. or learned how to ignore it either

i believe that someone who stumbles on this board and reads some threads and comes across beeware's continuous negative rants directed directly towards personnel ... that person cannot ignore/tolerate those threads.

i love the fact that this board allows posters to post whatever is on their minds.

once again .. i'm sorry for my thread on beeware .. i should take that thread off but dustjacket responded to that post ... and his response really made sense to me.

I have noticed BeeWare adding a lot of information to the board. Yes, he is still upset over O'Leary, but he does have some valued input to the board.

I have also noticed many of the posters have good repoire with BeeWare. I say ignore his posts if they bother you, and respond to them if they interest you. In fact, sometimes he gives me such a great opening, I cannot resist responding to his posts.

As I stated in another post, we need at least one BeeWare on the board, but not anymore than that.

I would probably be banned if I said anything near like the things that have been said to me or about me on here. I am not sure why TECH fans are so intolerant of a TECH fan having a different opinion than theirs. That is why I have the signature below my posts....unfortunately many are too dense to get it or understand it.
No one should be afraid of a different opinion....it makes you look small. Maybe some of you should take your Midol so you wouldn't be so cranky?!?!.

Beeware can be abrasive and then again he can be quite amusing. To be honest I must admit that Beeware is an enigma to me. About the time I think I have him figured out he will blindside us with one of his convoluted reasonings that will always insist that Braine has mental paralysis and there was a grand conspiracy to sabotage the football program by firing Mac and divesting ourselves of most of O'Leary's staff. But, there
is also a side of Beeware that is quite interesting and when he wants to he can post some great ideas. But, after saying all the negative things that most of us think about him from time to time
I am completely convinced that Beeware loves the Jackets but is incapable of getting over the hurt of losing O'Leary's bunch. And to be quite honest there have been times this season that I have wondered if he was right about Chan.

I lurk alot. Beeware's criticsm is annoying....VERY annoying. However, I don't think we have the right to stop him from expressing his opinion so long as he uses the correct language and what not.

My problem with beeware is twofold:

The continued insults towards Braine, Gailey, and anyone who offers an opposing viewpoint towards what he says(not to mention the insults, and yes, beeware, you start them most of the time).

The inability to learn, or listen to anyone else here.
Case in point:

gtfan said, "So beeware understand it is not what you say but HOW YOU SAY IT that is the problem."

beeware counters with, "I am not sure why TECH fans are so intolerant of a TECH fan having a different opinion than theirs. That is why I have the signature below my posts....unfortunately many are too dense to get it or understand it.
No one should be afraid of a different opinion"

It's like what anyone says just doesn't get through. I have no problem with other opinions. Neither do most of the people on here, but beeware thinks that's what it's about. It's not the opinion, it's the method. People have a right to oppose abortion. But firebombing clinics isn't the right way to express that opinion.

culb .. i agree with you ...

i remember the thread where your opinion differed from beeware's (oh! how can that be??) and he started his thread by ridiculing you.

started off saying are you stupid or something .. stupid is as culb does .. forrest culb.

this beeware guy has no class ... cannot believe that he is a jacket fan. if he truly is a jacket fan as some of us are convinced (i hope wrongly) .. then he is the first jacket fan who embarrasses me ... plenty such fans root for uga ... tech doesn't need such fans.

Beeware's lame analysis of Braine and the new coaches, an analysis which has been irritating because, as you note, gtfan, he has always presented it as a rant, is gradually becoming comic. Even as he praises the effort vs UNC, he feels compelled to insult the O-line coach; when he doesn't like the play-calling, he blames CG; when he does like it, he praises BO'B.; and on and on. He is indeed becoming comic, and will soon become utterly absurd as he keeps insisting on an untenable view.

But, hey, so what? We're talking about football here, not whether to fight Iraq. It's pretty clear that CG and DB are proceeding unintimidated by Beeware. So can we.

On the topic of just plain football, Beeware has interesting stuff to say, and he can say it with some humor and verve. The "Braine-dead" and "Buck" stuff will die a natural death when it finally dawns on us that he is laughably, not enragingly, wrong.

Beeware does like GT but he beats the GoL dead horse too much. GoL is gone, fini. He was good for Tech and Tech was good for him.

I also believe that Beeware takes a great pleasure in playing the devil's advocate. Many fonts react to his pleadings and I am sure he is smirking at us all. Maybe if we don't reply then his pleasure would be diminished. Just my thoughts.

You have to admit if you just stand back and listen to some of these intolerant protesters on here...they are, sadly, hilarious.

Why is it that TECH fans are so intolerate and afraid for another TECH fan to have a different opinion. No one should be afraid of a different opinion. What a dull board it would be if only one opinion is allowed. This place is really weird.

The act has gotten old, beeware. Grow up or take it to a disney board where people are expected to behave like children. No one's interested in violating your right to free speech. You're a jerk, thats what we don't like. After having offended us TECH fans continually we don't care what you think or if you feel like you've been offended. Get the picture, man? Back home we call it "wearing out your welcome." I would like to suggest a font and attitude change. Beeware=a$$hole. Your neighbor, gnats 67.
