Does anyone have a YouTube of the block and score uploaded with the call by Gene Deckerhoff? He, IMHO is one of the great play by play announcers up there right along with Ciraldo, Durham the Elder, Durham the Younger, Munson and the like. I enjoyed hearing the call of the UGA crew when we beat them, just to hear the misery in their voices. Deckerhoff is a professional though unlike the UGA homers, and I think that his take would be interesting to hear.

And BTW, Brandon Gaudin is on his way to becoming one of those legendary voices.

I like how you directly contradict yourself. Gaudin was about as homer as one can be in his radio call. Nothing wrong with that, that's what he's paid for. But you can't turn right around and use the same thing against the UGA crew.

Sidekick used to be Peter Tom Willis. I get way too much Deckerhoff. He calls the Bucs games, too. If you watch the game on TV and listen to Gene on radio you might think you are watching a different game.

Well Brandon is OUR homer and is professional to boot. Those turds over in Athens are inarticulate and just plain torture on the ears, except when we beat them.

Deckerhoff sounds like the Kimmer calling any old game between any old teams. I'd hate for that to be my teams' play by play man, personally. Save the professionalism for TV and the pros.
