Dedrick stat

The nature of our offense. Didn't Laskey have a year where he never lost a yard?
 
I'd say an offense that can nearly guarantee a ground game over multiple years with no negative yardage is a pretty damn good one.

There's an art to falling forward for a 3 yard gain on a well defended dive. Laskey was great at this. Mills has a much stronger lower base and will become our next BB star, if he isn't already.
 
It's not just the offense. 5.9% of Dedricks rushes were for zero or negative yards. 20.8% of the rest of our non QB scramble rushes we're for zero or negative yards. B-back gonna get his yards, but Dedrick's clearly unusually good.
 
Deddrick, if he stays healthy, could be the difference maker in our offense this year. He's an absolute beast. With an improved defense, it's not that hard to fantasize about bigger things we haven't achieved in awhile.

I want to see how he compared on that stat to other historical B Backs.
 
I don't like the way Flynn worded the tweet.
"As a freshman" makes it seem like "among freshman". Should have just made the statement then added: "and he's just a freshman."
