Yeah, no chance he is coming to GT unless he is just BS'ing about the HBCUs.
He’s a competitor unlike what 99% of this board could understand so I think he does make the jump. And he obviously cares about money. One thing that GT could do to sweeten the pot is make a commitment to playing an hbcu school every year with a minimum payout of ~$500k.He said that he interviewed with three Power 5 schools in the offseason. So yeah, I'd say he is BSing if he's talking about staying there long term.
I believe it means a lot for him and that he won't be upset if he stays there, but he clearly would like the opportunity to jump up to the big time. As most people would.
Or we could hire Key if he finishes the season strongHe’s a competitor unlike what 99% of this board could understand so I think he does make the jump. And he obviously cares about money. We should be doing that anyway. He’s a competitor unlike what 99% of this board could understand so I think he does make the jump. And he obviously cares about money. I'd bet good money that he is. Deion totally has a perma-salesman vibe about him, I don't buy for one second that he particularly cares about HBCU football. It's not exactly like P5 football is low on black kids he could mentor...he's THE poster child for a cocky superstar athlete. I don't really want him anymore with Key proving himself like he has, but I'll continue to remain a skeptic that Deion is wildly loyal to a college that he didn't even attend.Yeah, no chance he is coming to GT unless he is just BS'ing about the HBCUs.
