Most likely CDS wants to use the indoor practice facility. They have a bowl game in Atlanta.

This is the reason. It was reported already a couple days ago in another thread.
This doesn't sound right to me. The bowls usually prearrange the practice venues before the teams arrive. They don't leave it to the incoming teams to scramble around to find a place. The Peach Bowl uses the GT and Ga State facilities. I would expect the Cricket Bowl to do the same, unless they want to use the local HBCU facilities. Now, if that's the case I could see Sanders reaching out for an upgrade.
Not sure about it but I feel certain they probably have somewhere else arranged to practice like you say and that is probably an outdoor field somewhere. Deion wants to use our indoor, likely to try to get the kids acclimated to playing indoors and on turf.
If that's the case, I think Deion is more interested in showing the players and alumni that he's got enough pull to use the best facility in town. It's a perk for the players and he's in a fundraising drive to get one of his own (although it looks like a Butler Building without walls in the middle of the school's track).

We do this all the time. It's a common courtesy that we should absolutely extend to CDS's team.
