I'm vacationing here in St Simons Island this week, and of course it's bulldog central.

The universal sentiment here is that "Georgia should have won that game"! To which I incredously reply: "You let somebody hang a half dollar on you in your house and yet you say you should have won the game????

Its not like it was close or anything. It WAS a blowout!

My wife is from SSI and we go down there quite a bit. Every day I am there I make sure to wear a GT shirt and/or hat. I get quite a few stares, but have honestly noticed a few more people in the past year who have been wearing GT stuff. It used to be only UGA, but GT seems to be spreading...

Enjoy your time down there...where are you staying?
 
My Uncle, a fine fellow even if he's a UGA fan, has a house on Mallory up from the Village he generously lets my wife and I use.

Weather's been beautiful this week.

Even more amazing when two of Georgia's TDs came on Special Teams. Their OL is just in really bad shape this year, as is their defense.

On paper, we look to win this game and I certainly hope we do.
 
Well, none of my MANY Ugag friends here in Augusta think the dawgs should have won. Don't seem to see many Ugag car flags a flyin this week!!:roflmao:
 
Sunday afternoon I saw a minivan with a GT flag on one side and a UT flag on the other.

I was down there two weeks ago and the weather was absolutely gorgeous and will be down again the week after the Florida/UGA game. I have an interest in a vacation condo on Mallory and go many times during the year. The amount of UGA stuff in St. Simons is sickening for a GT grad especially the week before the game, so much that I stay away during that week. However, I always wear my GT hats and shirts whenever I am down there.
 
We have a daughter in law from there and she and her whole family are dyed in the wool flea fans. Since we haven't won over them lately and since Alfonza's Plantation House is closed now, I avoid even going there anymore.

Now when we beat them this year, I may make a courtesy call to see them just to make sure they are all OK. :)

Since we have an off-week, I thought I might drive over and crash the Homecoming parties for the UGA/Vandy game. Don't give a hoot about the game but I thought I might drive through the campus with signs on my car that said, "Sonny II didn't make the same mistake his Daddy did. He enrolled at Tech."
