Actually, and don't tell anyone this/you didn't get this from me...

Dems is in negotiations to be the new insider over at HogsIllustrated.com. However, the word is that Stingtalk is putting together an incentive based contract extension, with bonus escalators when he hits a certain number of words per year milestones.
 
Bees... he is using the Arkansas thing to try to lure more money out of Stingtalk. He has too much vested in ATL to be moving to the country.
Also, he has his hogs in his garage, not on the football field!

It's possible he doesn't have any news to share, and it's possible he's still pissed everyone called him a liar.

I wouldn't blame him if he didn't come back and share anything anymore.
 
Me either, Ivey. Dem was pretty much treated like crap. He was good enough to share what information he had, right wrong or indififferent. Coaching searches like this have many twists and turns. It's the exception, not the rule, when a school immediately hires someone to fill a vacancy like this.

Pretty much everything Dem said has come to fruition. I give him a lot of credit for posting here. Posting coaching search information here or the hive is like being a piece of meat in a tank full of pirhanas.
 
I heard Demjackets is on the list for replacement head coaches at Duke.

I think he will be back soon, but I think when he implied that Clough and Drad were at odds over WM, he was told to chill it awhile. Just MHO
 
The only time people started to jump on Demjackets was when he started instigating that mess about Clough screwing DRad over, and how DRad was going to quit his job, and all that mess.

..which was indeed a mess.

and you know what...he probably is po'd. I would be too.

I talked to him today....no comment.

I hope it was clear that I agree with you, but I'll say it again for the record: I have seen no evidence Dem lied, and I do not believe he did. I can't say it's a fact because I really don't know, but I think you know a lot more than most of us.

...waits for the conspiracy theory that demjackets and 33jacket are the same person. Probably involves gold helicopters....ooooh, or the Men in Gold....Gold Aliens?

sounds like PJ has been given a deadline, but if he says yes we then have to work out the details-is that at about right?
