Demetris Robertson decision coming [after LOI deadline]

Cal's Scout board has one thread on Robertson with only two responses in the thread. Do they even care?

I would like to add that Cal is the MF'ers that stole Shareef Abdur-Rahim from us in basketball. Screw'em
 
I remember the whole Shareef Abdur-Raheem fiasco, going to California was his first of his many career issues...

The lesson to be learned here is a simple one: if y'all are from here, then it's in your enlightened self interest to make your career here, easy stuff ... !
 
If he signs with cal but then he's miserable and transfers to Tech, does that mean I come back?

I think we should wait 4-5 years for his college career to be over to see if he does come to Tech like I said. Then we can make a decision about the permaban.

Don't know if this thread is about Demetris Robertson or Akin.

Personally, I really hope Demetris comes to GT and all his and our dreams come true.

As far as Akin goes, regardless, I think we should give him amnesty. He's really put his neck out. I personally think Robertson will be a Jacket, and Akin isn't about shoes.

Respectfully disagree. Without reading any of this thread or following recruiting the last year, let me see if I can summarize this kid:

Highly rated recruit, listed GT as a finalist with some other noteworthy schools, his scores don't cut it at other places but he still isn't going to come to GT but our fan base thinks we have a chance, he'll go elsewhere, we'll whine, talk about Tuitts mom for a while, wonder why we don't get academic exceptions, want to fire Paul Johnson, make disparaging comments about uga's academics, etc. yes?

I hope everyone appreciates that I am totally kidding. But without knowing anything about this kid, if he's warranted 28 pages on a GT board, there is zero chance he's coming to GT. The odds of coming to GT = [1/(# of pages of forum hype)]*x

This has become old .... it would be great if the kid had the insight to come where his folks could see him play, his name would mean something in 5 years and his degree would protect him from injury, if he has this degree of perception, he'd be a spectacular addition to the family ....
