Deshaun Watson trolling the dwags

Deshaun better off not going to the bottomless pit of wasted and undeveloped talent. Unless he wanted to become the next Hutson Mason or Jacob Eason, and play for a fat ass

In my opinion it was a huge mistake to fire Jim Donnan because the man like mobile qbs as much as Vince Dooley like them. DJ Shockley might have been a 3 or 4 year starter, Cam Newton, Nick Marshall and Deshaun Watson more than likely would have played qb at uga. That’s at least 3 national championships for the dawgs.

From the comments. Wow. The mutthurt is off the charts. Also, 3 championships? The delusion combined with hubris is a toxic mix.

Instead of prioritizing Watson, the Bulldogs’ staff let him ultimately sign with Clemson

"Let him?"

What an arrogant, clueless embarrassment to sports and higher education. I suppose they "let" Calvin Johnson, Jonathan Dwyer and Josh Nesbitt sign with us too.

That was really big of them.

Yup, they were late to recruit Watson, but they did end up recruiting him.

Even beyond those big names, UGA regularly comes after many Tech recruits when they have to fill their numbers late in the recruiting process. We have to fight to hold them, usually successfully.

Wow. Dig up a 4 year old tweet just to dig at a couple of coaches that aren't there any longer and probably don't give a shit.

It could only be a dig at Bobo, which hurts extra because he played there. Any dig aimed at Richt makes half their own fans cringe with regret.

I think the odds are very good that Cam, if he would have played QB, would have taken UGA to the national championship. Who did auburn play that year? Oregon? That's winnable

Nick Marshall.....no

Watson? Came very close last year and won last night. That one is debatable.

Glad the recruiting geniuses over in Athens are actually ööööing idiots.

none of those guys fit Richt/Bobo's scheme and they'd probably be too stupid to adjust to make it work.

I think we are seeing that Richt can make adjustments. Guess we will see how Miami does when Kaaya leaves this year.

Pretty sure Cam would have had tremendous success in the majority of upper tier power 5 teams. Let's be honest: he would have taken a VA Tech or UNC (especially at the height of their scandal) to the next level.

Put Cam at Tennessee? What about Texas? He would have made Stanford NC that year.

Point is, UGA ööööed up big time by trying to recruit him as a TE. Florida was on the right track, but you can only throw so many computers out of dorm Windows.

i think you underestimate ugay as a talent black hole. They take in 4-5 star recruits and have highly-ranked classes every year and produce shit. They have had plenty of players as highly rated as the above and have accomplished almost nothing with them. Granted, Newton was on another level but almost any program could say "well if we had Newton, we would win the NC."

Players "highly rated" and players that have produced at high levels are very different.

My point was, in fact, that many programs could have succeeded if they had Cam. Including UGA.

Bobo ain't got nothing on Ol' Mack Brown and his excellent history of recruiting top in state QB talent.
