Did anyone listen to 680 and Buck

He was spot on...he devoted about an hour talking about P.J. and how the mindset of Gt fans has to change...we are the most pessimistic fanbase out there...every year expecting 7 or 8 wins and not a positive bunch...I agree...I have seen the majority on here and on the hive predicting 7 or 8 wins this year and Buck has heard the same from GT fans...

We are underestimating P.J. and our talent on defense...Buck was spot on with this and saying what I have believed, we have one of the top 2 or 3 Dline's in the country...this set's up for a good year...P.J. as Buck said, never has had this type talent and he is a winner...I think we could have a big year...

Buck is just trying to pump expectations high enough that he can call our first year a disappointment in December.

Actually, there is a long thread on this over on the hive (Puke)

I agree with most over there, Buck is one of the FEW dawgs I like..He doesn't dump on GT like the others..he actually loves P.J. as do many south Ga. people...His program yesterday was good and spot on!

I think Brandon Adams and Jeff Wolverton on 790 give us a lot of favorable air time, even though one of them is a mutt. I've always been very pleased with their show, whether on the weekend or the new one at lunch. They make a point not to play "extremist radio guy" to get a rise out of their callers, like so many other radio personalities do, and that's really a breath of fresh air.
 
I just don't see the depth required and skills required on offense yet. I know it will come but they have a ways to go and very little depth to take us through.

And if you dont see it, from all the way up in baltimore with all the practices you have probably been to, then I'm sure it's not here...

nah skills are definitely there....depth and experience aren't.
 
1) I hate 680 The Fan. I don't know about their allegiances, I just hate the station. I listen to 790 The Zone all the time.

2) If this Buck character actually said that "Tech fans expect 7 to 8 wins a year" then he's just an idiot and should probably be shot.

3) Yes, many, many Tech fans are overly pessimistic, but they're all too obsessed with considering themselves "realists" so they're going to keep doing it.
