Did anyone record Fowler last night?

Man, there was some gems.

My personal favorite was saying that Beluga whales made great caviar.

In fact, last night's ESPN coverage was world class all around. The halftime Dr. Lou speech for OSU was probably the greatest thing I've ever heard in my entire life. At no point in his rambling, incoherent pep talk was he even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. I loved it.

My favorite part was when Fowler said his favorite fight song was Georgia Techs

Got it waiting on my DVR at home, can't wait to watch it. Of course, if we lost it I wouldn't be able to delete it fast enough. Good thing we won :).

I just checked my DVR, and GODDAMNIT.

I rigged it to record an extra half hour beyond the scheduled game time, and HELL IF ESPN DIDN'T DRAG THE GAME OUT FURTHER THAN THAT.

With the extra half hour of recording, I got up to 1 minute left, right before we kick the field goal to go ahead. I wanted to hear how loud the stadium was on TV for the final defensive stand. No dice.

Damn, really? I'm pretty sure I did mine one hour after the end because I wanted to get the postgame SC too. Sounds like I won't get much of that, but I'll at least get the whole game. Can't wait to hear the BDS crowd in surround sound.

DAMNIT!!!!!

It didn't even cross my mind to set my DVR to record after the scheduled time. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I'd blame it on being inexperienced with a DVR, but I think I'm just stupid.

For those of you with ESPNU, they are replaying the game today from 2 to 5. and then Sat AM from 3 to 6 AM.

Edit: Not sure how they are going to do the longer than 3 hours part--they may eliminate some of our drives in the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

how hard would it be for DVR to incorporate a feature that accounts for things running past schedule?

end of the game one of them said the ACC was great as long as the ACC doesnt play the Colonal Conf. Then they all had a good laugh.

Thought they did a nice job up til then. heres hoping the Sec goes down in flames.

Dr. Lous half-time talk was in a cage. It looked like it was his prison where the keep the poor on feller when he isn't live on air.

Lou's rant on The University of Spoiled Children was funny. I had not heard that one before.

I have found that the best and simplest method is to just set the DVR to record the 2 scheduled shows after the game also. Never fails.

Near the half way point of that rant, and it was a rant, he stopped making sense all together. Talking about Ben Franklin and whatnot and I don't even know. It was, simply put, amazing.

The cage just added to the effect, because it seemed like he was in the university's kitchen pantry, yelling at bags of flour and wheat. Which is exactly what I imagine him doing.

Rofl. So true. I was thinking the same thing. My wife goes, "why is he in a cage?" And I was like, "that's supposed to be a locker room." She was like, "for who, toddlers?"

I love the guy to death for his mindless rants.

I liked the commentary for the most part, but Jesse Palmer needs to die in a fire.
