Was his performance so bad that this ever entered your mind as a reason behind it?

If his performance was that bad, Gailey should have pulled him. No excuses for leaving him in the game. None whatsoever.

It's the best explanation I've seen for the mistakes he made today (most of which you mentioned). He looked like a freshman playing his first series throughout the game.

He ain't going pro. Did he take the dive for the $$$?

I didn't want to say it here, but I said the same thing to JTS in my kitchen an hour ago.

Lets recap:

22 attempts
6 completions
42 yards
2 interceptions (one for 3 points)
1 fumble (one for 7 points)
4 sacks (31 yards lost)

Reggie gave UGA 10 points, and his totals (passing minus sack yardage) was only barely single digits .. 11 yards.

Let that sink in guys. Our senior QB vs UGA got 11 yards and gave the other team 10 points.

Yeah, he was seen with Sebastian Telfair and a middle aged white guy before the game.

Wow. You're a bunch of the most pathetic excuses for fans I've ever seen.

Why Jacket?
You know why. The reason for why someone who proposed what you did being a complete idiot is understandable even by the same idiot.

If you believe or even think it possible that Reggie threw the game, then you are far more stupid are far more worthless than even the dregs of Athens.

I hope this is true. There is no way he was this bad. Even RB

Seriously. Only gaining one yard of offense for every point you give to the opponent has very few valid explanations.

Again why? You never answered my question. Is it far fetched to think that he mmight have? Lets face it.. the evidence would suggest that its definately a possiblity. Go watch the replay of the 2 point conversion and the 3rd down and goal where he took the sack. Very compelling to go along with some awful stats.

I know its a terrible thing to think that a GT player could do that, but give me an arguement that he wouldn't do it? Its not like Reggie has shown an awful lot of character in the past.

it was easily the worst performance of Reggie's career and that is saying something.

What about the wide open TD to Calvin where he threw it 4 yards behind him and Calvin almost tipped for an interception.

I don't seriously think he threw the game but it was a HORRIBLE performance.

The burden of proof rests with you, dip****. And I don't give a damn if that results in some form of reprimand. I would trust the mods to get rid of someone accusing our quarterback of what you have before they ever got rid of me for insulting that someone.

Your claims are as reasonable as a declaration that Reggie was convinced by Jesus to throw the game for his eternal salvation.

It's your stupid, ridiculous claim - so you prove it.

I have never question Reggie's character, or his drive, or his passion for the game. But I also just saw the game. Holy crap.

If he threw the game, we should make sure he doesn't throw another. If he didn't throw the game on purpose, then we should definitely make sure he never sees the field again.

I do not think he threw the game on purpose. I have never questioned his heart, just his decision making.

Hey Jackass, I just posed the possibility. Given his tenure and performance, I wouldn't say it couldn't happen. How you overlook 3 wide open receivers though when its 3rd and goal so you can try to run the ball youself from 15 yards out is beyond me.

It's called an error. You are the "jackass", sir, for even proposing the concept.

I've often been happy that you stuck around on this forum for the last couple of years because you did a nice job of often kicking the people that bashed and hated Chan right in the teeth - but this post that you have made has surpassed any of the stupidity I ever saw by BeeWare, BeeBad, and whoever that woman was that accompanied them.

So what's the explanation?

I view BOR's thread here, as perhaps an attempt to say, "hey, maybe Reggie isn't absolutely and completely the worst QB ever to see the field on the flats ... maybe he did it on purpose."

How about you answer the other question:

Was gaining 11 yards on 22 attempts and giving UGA 10 points on 3 turnovers the best Reggie could do?

Answer that. Yes or No.

Because if 'Yes,' he should turn his jersey in to the trainers and work on graduating, and if 'No' then you've got some further explaining to do.

I don't think Reggie threw the game on purpose - I think he really, truly wanted to beat UGA.

He is simply the worst QB on the planet.

It's a shame, too, because I think he would have been a decent punt returner and nickel back.

Dude, you need to get over being a defender of all things Tech and learn how to have a conversation on a message board. Either one of two things happened today, as this post was trying to get at and beej67 nailed that CLEARLY went WAY over your head...

1.) Reggie Ball threw the game and should not play another down (highly doubtful).

or

2.) Reggie Ball played THAT bad and was left in the game to further his failures. (more than likely).

If he indeed played that bad, then there is NO ARGUEMENT that he is our best option to win and never was.

He does not need to be playing either way.
