Did the Bama QB just say his parents don't want him to honor God?

I took it as he started talking without crediting the lord first and apologizing for that, not that they dont want him to honor god.
 
I think he apologized to society but saying he would not be honoring his parents if he didnt honor god first. Seems like a good kid. Tim Tebow 2.0?
 
His parents wouldn’t want him to piss off Satan/Saban
