Conference record is all that matters, so any of the 5-3 and 4-4 teams can get picked ahead of us, except the ones with 6-6 overall record, because the NCAA (not the ACC) says so.

Yeah but I think it goes by conference W-L. 5-3 vs. 4-4. Still don't think Clemson would jump over us anyway.

I'm sorry, but if climpsun goes to the gator bowl over us, that is truly a waste of a bowl game for the ACC. Wouldn't you want your hottest, most intriguing team on your New Year's Day bowl?

You would, but the fan base factors in as well. This is why we and BC have a tendency to get screwed and sent out west. It becomes a nice self-fulfilling prophecy: GT/BC fans don't travel well, GT/BC ends up in Boise, no one travels to Boise, see we told you GT/BC doesn't travel well.

UNC's at 8-4 this year, if they get sent out to some crappy bowl maybe they'll complain to the ACC about the bowl selection procedures. Since they're a Tobacco Road school they'll actually get something done.
