Different helmets

I noticed some guys have completely different helmets.

Some guys have the traditional one and others have one that reminds me of this:

Does anyone know the difference?

Yeah I guess.

I noticed them before, but I didn't realize some players still had the traditional ones.

I think the traditional ones are slowly being weeded out as it seems each year I see fewer and fewer.
