with his bruised quadricep. He does seem to get banged up a lot.

Troy specializes in quick short passes. They threw the ball on 48 of 62 offensive plays against FSU with an average completion of 7.6 yds. They completed 65% of their passes.

To top it off:

"This loss is going to go toward Georgia Tech," said linebacker Marcus Richardson.

Read that this morning. Hopefully, we'll still be able to provide as solid of coverage in the secondary.

Hivered, Troy will smell blood from the opening kickoff. They are VERY talented. I was extremely impressed watching them go toe to toe with FSU. Several times, Troy should have scored but tipped passes or penalties killed them.

They will be gunning for our head. We'd better be ready. Ready to bring our A PLUS game.

Don't say "Oh this is just Troy". This is a legitimate threat. They WILL beat us if we aren't sharp. Know that.

On the last quote nothing but good locker room material & perhaps TROY is getting full of themselves & will be HUMBLED when they show up next Saturday expecting to come in and walk away w/ a "W".....
They can talk all they want to the media but the game is played ON THE FIELD and b/w the sidelines!
GOOOOO JJJJAAACCCCKKKKEEETTTTSSSS BUST THEIR _______!

Ramblin. THAT's the attitude we've got to have to beat this team. We've got to want to beat them MORE than Notre Dame, Miami, UGA. This is a tough team and we've got to come focused and fired up!!!!

I'll Line Up Against Them

I respect Troy. Don't get me wrong.

I'm not afraid to line up against them.

We heard all about Dr Quinn Medicine Woman and her 3-step drops. They junked that plan at the half, because we were containing it. The 3-step drop was not responsible for either TD.

Stamford showed the same thing. Samford is no ND, but we saw it and prepared for it again.

Now Troy. Bring it. We're averaging 10 ppg with a low sigma.

No team in the last few years has been able to successfully pass against us without establishing the run first. No team.

No team.

Is this the Troy team that went 4-7 last year? You'd think they were gunning for the BCS.

They've got to show me more than one FSU game to make me a believer...

Awfully cocky quote from a team in the Sunbelt Conference. Troy is not a cupcake, and our team will have to acknowlege that.

But, if they come into Atlanta with that cockiness, our Jackets will dispatch them in short order :behead:

I said from the get go Troy was not a team to be taken lightly. They have played some good ball against some good teams. They come up short but did play well. We need Jones and I wish him well and hope he's back shortly.

So who starts at that Safety position? The Depth Chart has Blackwood as backup, but I'd think they'd shuffle it to get the best out there. Maybe they'll move Clark or Roberson over?

it will be Roberson

Roberson, Yes

But Blackwood did not embarrass himself last Saturday.
