Wasn't there in 2000. I was at the SECCG a few years back but i can't remember if they were selling. Anyone got any idea?
Bring plenty of $$$--if they do it will be costly!
Or just take in one of these happy little fellers, http://www.drinkingcorner.com/proddetail.php?prod=sipseat
Not entirely true. Tulane is allowed, and actually advertises this fact openly. Check out the end of this wonderful welcome to Tulane article: http://tulane.edu/news/releases/archive/2003/welcome_to_wave_nation.cfmThe way I have been told is that beer cannot be sold on campus or at NCAA sanctioned events. Bowl games are not NCAA sanctioned events except for the BCS championship game. I dont know for fact though, just what I was told.
Yep! I can't afford $8 a pop, so I get all my drinking in before and after.
Almost every bowl game and conf. champ game in a pro stadium has its regular alcohol sales.
Somewhat related question, what about those schools (Miami, Minnesota, Pitt, etc...) that play their home games off campus in a pro stadium? Do they have beer sales there? Is the no beer thing only for on campus stadiums, or for regular college games in general?
Do they have alcohol for sale at the Cocktail party? or the Army/Navy game?
I was oversold in 2000, hope to be that way again in 2008.
