It possibly could have had an effect, of course we will never know, unless we play them again in a bowl game(which would be awesome imo).

Never know, I think our biggest downfall there was getting too conservative on the offensive side of the ball. But the system was new, and theres reasons it played out the way it did. It definitely didnt have anything to do with ND having a stellar defense, everyone except Stanford has stored more points than we did.
As for the rematch, doubtful, if thats the case though it would interesting, cause that would likely mean we had made it to another rematch in Jacksonville before that, agianst either Clemson or NCSU if things keep going the wya they are. Would be a hell of a way to end the year.
