I am a coach at norcross highschool. And although I don't coach football I have been talking to a few other coaches that say he's very interested in iowa. They have been talking to him and he's going on an official visit.

I'm stocking up on butthurt futures as we speak

Seems like every recruit we lose to Iowa ends up in prison. Might want to give him a heads up.

Kid is one of the nicest out there. I asked before the season if he was sold out to tech and he said yes. But he like many of his peers is probably just interested in the hot team.

Shouldn't base his decision on what a bunch of idiots on a message board say. He should pick the school that's best for him and his future. But if he decommits, he was overrated anyway.

Does young Mr. Cole understand his head coach's father is the only RB from GT to have ever scored 4 TD's against the leg humpers? Tell Coach Keith to do every he can to deliver Mr. Cole to North Avenue.

In the long run, he has to look out for himself. If he takes the visit, I assume we'll shop for another player at his position.

He better make öööö sure Iowa is worth visiting before jumping on that plane.

Have him wait until December to take that Iowa trip. His balls will probably still be frozen when he signs with GT.

Great. Yet another negative to having a öööö season. We get to sweat every decent recruit until signing day.

If he gets on that plane then öööö him. Somebody notify CPJ so he pulls the offer based on this rumor.

Was going to say something to this but well done

You don't have to wait until December to realize Iowa sucks. It's just one big corn field in the middle of the summer. The school isn't in Des Moines.

We have some criends down here that moved from Iowa a year ago. They said it got so cold, it pealed the paint off the house.

And that is a tropical paradise compared to where you are at.

Down here in Not Conyers, I was mistaken for a yankee because I was walking on the beach in shorts and a tshirt. It was 68 and sunny. People were bundled up in coats and hats.

We have a lot of kids that want his spot. Kids that are better than him. Remember our last DB spot is being held for Finley. So if losing Cole got us a spot for somebody like say Troy Pride. I'd be ok with that.

Kid needs to do what is best for him. He's a good player, but not crucial for us in any way. We have recruited pretty well at that position lately, and have options if he goes elsewhere. I hope he sticks with GT, but won't sweat it for a second if he doesn't.

Basically none of these projected recruits have proved anything. So to infer he is one of our better recruits has no basis in fact. Most of these guys come in here, find out they are not playing high school ball anymore and can not dominate at this level. It crushes a lot of them and they quit. It humbles a lot of them and they stfu and try to hang on and make something out of themselves. 1 out of 10 walk in the door in a position to actually play, despite what the recruiting gurus say. So I would not get butthurt over losing any of these guys until and unless they actually get out there and prove they can make a difference. If they leave then, you can shed a few tears.

Go Jackets!

Currently a foot of snow in Iowa. 68 and sunny in Atlanta. Just sayin

I think this is especially true for RB recruits. Unless they are incredible in HS it is hard to know how good they are going to be at the college level.
