headed to Notre Dame just as a defensive position coach and that is it. That is not Jon Tenuta!

There is more to this than meets the eye. There has to be some kind of agreement between He and Charlie for the DC position, if not immediatly, sometime very soon.

This is not all of the story.
 
What is more interesting is Corwin Brown is still the defensive coordinator. Weis said he and Corwin made the decision together to make Jon the offer.

I predict a lot of coaching room brawls in the future there!!! :eek:
 
Think of it this way. Tenuta is essentially brought in as a defensive consultant to work with Brown and the defense. It's a high profile position and if successful will lead to another opportunity next year either as DC or HC.

Didn't I read that Tenuta is an Atheist? An Atheist at a School founded and supported by Catholics? I would think the Administration would object to this.

But I sure didn't believe it. He's a good Catholic boy from a big Catholic family, and I call BS on the whole "you can't pray in here" story.
