There is something very special about this kid. I have been doing a lot of research on him lately. Heres what i gathered. His mom died when he was 9. His dad lives in another state. He lives with his brother who some of you might now he is dwight smith. He is orginally from ATL. He has been to our campus twice. Really likes it. Also has broke a ton of records in Florida! Lets hope he comes to tech!

Aycock is one of our top three targets left now that Sims is committed..the others being Cross and Myles.
 
He has said he will wait until January to make a decision. Don't expect anything soon.

According to Tampa papers a week or so ago, no other school but Tech is recruiting him as a QB. I don't know if that is a plus or a minus. He plays LB sometimes. He's tough and smart and if I remember correctly has almost 50 career rushing touchdowns in a pure triple option, i.e., "high school offense". :laugher:

we have 17 committed and PJ said we would take 25. So overall it appears we have space, I am guessing with Luallen, Sims, we only have room for one more QB...
